The end of the Brands didn't end well with the overheating and the car bogging down.
The only thing it can be is the electric reverse rubbing somewhere and making the engine work too hard.
Seats out, tunnel out and time to pull apart the reverse.
Lunch first.. Had Adam on hand to help.. :)
First bit found to be catching on the prop.. reverse motor adapter.
Second bit found to be catching on the prop.. Electric reverse mount catching on prop flange bolts.
Third bit found to be catching on the prop.. the actual reverse motor itself.
The chassis mount was cut away to give the flange more room.
All in bits..
fourth bit found to be rubbing.. The reverse motor spline has actually been catching on the reverse gear when the reverse is not activated.
Based on the above.. The reverse motor is going in the bin.. until I can find a better solution where it does not come into contact with the prop.
Below is my new solution for now.. lol
Starting to go back together..
This thing has caused me some problems.. I'm sure its held me back during launches.
More help from the little man.
