Been pondering for ages on how to fix my Racetech Mirrors to the car. They could go in the scuttle but I would be worried about knocking them breaking the GRP. So they need to be fixed to the roll cage like my IVA mirrors. I would drill and tap the cage but everyone recommends against it as it can weaken the cage drilling into the cage.
Been searching for ages trying to find the some roll cage mounts. The best ones I can find are from Safety Devices. They are meant for holding kit to expedition vehicles.
They currently have a M8 fixing hole so will need to drill and tap this to the 1/4" x 28 UNF thread of the Racetech mirrors.
