Coolant Hoses / Electric water pump

Silicone hoses and aluminium tubing turned up. I had already worked out the route and have been waiting for the tubes to be beaded. 

The electric pump just hangs in the air and suspended using the hoses it seems to work well as it shouldn't vibrate on anything.  

My coolant temperature sender comes out from a billet adatper

The hoses are pretty level coming from the pump to below the radiator. It was advised to keep it as level as possible so not to create any air locks. I pass the hose through the large hole under the steering rack plate.

I blank off the other side of the coolant thermostat housing. 

Still working on the header tank.. To be continued.. 

The Making of my coolant system..

As I am running the electric water cooler my coolant hose setup is a little different to the MNR setup. This meant there was a little trial and error to get the setup correct. 

Below is my base kit to try and get a setup. 

The electric pump with the connections the wrong way round as it works better for my solution.

Trying to keep the pipes as level as possible on the run between the front and back of the car. I come out the bottom of the radiator, then through the holes in the steering rack plate and then across to the pump behind the engine.

The electric pump should just hang there however I might have to make a bracket to support it.

The wrong connections to my radiator were sent so I couldn't get it fully connected up.

Coolant Thermostat Modification

So because I am running an electric water pump and the bike engine needs to run cooler in a car the coolant thermostat requires some modification. 

Once off you can see the stat inside which needs to be removed.

I removed the stat and put the holder back into the housing. Apparently if you don't put it back in the coolant passes through the block too quickly and won't remove the heat.

Honda Coolant hoses

I've ordered up the coolant hoses and are just waiting for them to turn up..  

The electric pump will sit down in the gap just in front of the engine. 

It will hang in the below position suspended in the air by the hose attached to the engine and radiator. 

All of these hoses will be replaced so time to remove. 

The hoses going to the Honda oil cooler are now redundant as I am running an external oil cooler.

All gone ready for the the new hoses to come. The oil cooler will just be left with no hoses attached.
