Cutting the bonnet...
My father popped round to help cut the bonnet. I had marked the bonnet with rough measurements the night before. My father thought we could make it a little smaller and we could always make it bigger.
I used the Dremel to cut out the hole. I taped the bottom of the bonnet sides to support them.
In position, its close but still needs a fair amount of trimming.
All done, fits through the hole perfectly. I've made it as small as it can be at the moment, this will leave me to decide what scoop I go with, either I fit the MNR one or go for something different.
Once I have the new scoop I can fix this into place and then cut as much off the bonnet underneath as I like to allow airflow.
