AB Performance have been great, shed loads of free information. First phone call with Andy was 30+ minutes long, gave me the complete run down on how to run a CBR1000RR in a car.
If you are building a BEC with a CBR1000 I'd highly recommend you speak to Andy before hand.

Installing a bike into into a car brings it problems. When the engine is in a bike the engine leans, it has lots of air cooling, its load is minimal (rider/bike weight). Move that engine into a car and you put it into a box with poor cooling compared to the bike, the car doesn't lean, the engine sits the wrong way round (normally), and its under massive loads (car weight/drivers) and is driven flat out most of the time. With this in mind cooling is the major issue, most of the mods are to assist with cooling the engine.
