Second day with the engine. Thought I would make some progress tackle the sump first.
The engine isn't getting any lighter, lifting onto the bench on my own was good fun.
Bolts coming off, once all out a quick knock with a mallet and it was off. Lucky not too much oil was left in the engine so didn't make too much mess.
The oil looked nice and clean, no bits in the bottom or in filter.
ooh looks all pretty and shinny inside..
Removed all the old seal.
All Ready for the new billet sump. Fingers crossed it should turn up this week as I ordered it today.
